Me and my travelling partner had no problem checking in and it was good to relax after a long day travelling from Toronto. Best of all we actually won at the machines,whats not to love about Motor City Hotel and Casino More Show lessĪs a Brit travelling to America for the first time, I was unsure of what to expect from a Casino hotel! Thankfully it was a great experience, the room was big with comfy beds and a plush bathroom. My wife and I went on a bus trip to the Motor City Casino in June and really enjoyed ourselves.She then started receiving in the mail various offers to return including a free room at the hotel.That sounded like a pretty good deal to us and it stated if we booked online we could receive some free slot play money also.Well ,trying to book online didn't work very well because it showed that all rooms were booked.Having worked management in the industry for many years with several different chains,i called the front desk and was informed that there was no vacancies,but if I called in the morning and spoke to a manager some one may have cancelled,so I called and talked to Steven who got us a beautiful room and was extremely helpful in everyway.When we arrived everyone was great ,beginning with the parking valet to our bellman extraordinaire Chad who was awesome in everyway,truly a gem.The room was beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone ,and with my wifes birthday coming up in December we plan on returning.
